Useful links and information on how you can take action on climate change

10:10 Our chance to save the world!

Get involved in 10:10 and join others form every sector of British society in the aim to achieve a 10% cut in the UK's carbon emissions in 2010.

Find out your carbon footprint and reduce it

Act on CO2 calculates your carbon footprint and creates a useful action plan for reducing your footprint.

Your voice, your choice

Join the 'I Count' campaign organised by the Stop Climate Chaos coalition. This campaign calls on the government to take a lead on the global stage, cut UK emissions by 3 per cent each year, and help limit the impact of climate change on the world’s poorest communities.

Think global, act local

Encourage your local council to become climate-friendly. Explore EfficienCity, a virtual, climate-friendly town designed to inform individuals, businesses and local authorities about community energy schemes, renewable technologies and efficiency measures - and how these can be implemented in towns in the real world.

Through the eyes of a child

Empower children to take action on climate change. Eco-Schools is an international award programme that guides schools on their sustainable journey, providing a framework to help embed these principles into the heart of school life. Get your children's school to take part or make a donation.
