On Thursday, 19 July UNA-UK co-hosted an event titled 'MDG Midpoint: too little progress?', which served as the UK launch of the Millennium Development Goals Report 2007, which assesses progress made towards achieving the Goals.

Although the Report finds that some clear progress has been made towards implementing the Goals, it also highlights that their overall success is still far from assured, and will depend in large part on whether developed countries deliver on their aid commitments.
