UNA-UK Chair defends UK participation in racism conference

In a letter published by The Times on 23 April, Lord Hannay defends Britain's decision to participate in the UN anti-racism conference, which closes tomorrow. The conference hit the headlines when several delegations, including the UK's, walked out during a speech delivered by Iranian President Ahmadinejad.
