19 April - UNA-UK's Summer edition of New World magazine is released

To mark the establishment of the new UN Women agency, this issue of New World focuses on gender equality and women's empowerment. In our feature story, Dame Margaret Anstee DCMG speaks about her four pioneering decades at the UN. A member of UNA-UK's advisory panel, Dame Margaret was the first female to reach the rank of UN Under-Secretary-General and to lead a UN peacekeeping mission.

We also introduce our new Chairman, Sir Jeremy Greenstock, in a fascinating and candid interview about his time as UK Ambassador to the UN and UK Special Representative for Iraq.
