Biography
Veronica Lie is Deputy Executive Director at UNA-UK. In this capacity she:

• manages UNA-UK’s strategic communications;
• manages UNA-UK’s policy, education and communications staff;
• is editor-in-chief of all UNA-UK publications, including its flagship quarterly magazine New World;
• manages the secretariat of the UN All-Party Parliamentary Group;
• oversees liaison with UK departments of state, embassies and high commissions in London, other NGOs, media and academics.

In 2006, Veronica led the UK team’s editing of The Oxford Handbook on the United Nations (Daws and Weiss eds., OUP, 2007). Before joining UNA-UK in 2004, she worked in educational services in Canada. She speaks English and Norwegian, and has an MSc in International Politics from Edinburgh University and a BA in International Relations from the University of British Columbia.
